There is an issue with older roms, however we have released firmware that will allow you to safely uninstall, then go to the dealer to get your DME updated to a newer rom. This is only a possible issue with 9780B roms. We've seen zero issues in the field, but we wanted to be safe for everyone's sake. We sent emails to anyone we had on file with a bad rom and thiere were very few people since this is a very early revision from BMW.
When I released the firmware today, I also added support for everyone that was waiting with a good rom.
The firmware with the changes for the bad rom will be v1.6.7.0-5426 or above. Please let me know if anyone has any concerns or questions.
