I hope you're not spending anywhere near $100 for the GP's, as you can get RD's LED for that amount.
Also, what do you mean "dealing with the ballasts"?
There is no "dealing" with them, they fit right into the headlight housing and looks completely stock from the outside, waterproof and all.
