I KNOW SNOW TIRES ARE THE WAY TO GO but with winters being the way they are, I experience snow maybe 2 or 3 times each winter. Consider that with my low driving demands, and snow tires aren't all that necessary.
Now that I've made that disclaimer, I want to praise my Continental DWS tires!! Handled unplowed roads with ~3 inches of snow on them like a champ! I was so proud.
