It's easy to drop $2k for an off warranty BMW service. A friend of mine with a '99 325 recently had it serviced and the bill was $2,500. At 50,000 miles I was told the N54 engine requires some service work that involves timimg belts or something that is quite expensive. I wish I knew, but that is what the SA told me when they were trying to sell me extended warranty. Does anyone know what the actual service schedule is for the 135i?
