Ok, so you're wanting to run 18x8.5 square with a 245/35. If you had a narrower and round shouldered 245, e.g. Hankook V12 evo 2, then you might just squeeze in at the rear with an ET40, maybe even without a roll, but it would be close. Otherwise, any wide or square 245 tyre would be unlikely to fit unless it was at least rolled. This is just based on my car so it would be best to see what others have done.
If you get a set of vernier callipers and measure the rear lip thickness, what is the measurement?
