I've always felt like the wood was out of place; it just doesn't flow well with the rest of the car.
I think there is a time and place for wood trim but a performance oriented car is not it.

Yeah, I got the fabric off eBay and used spray adhesive. I did the whole thing after work over a week or so since the car is sitting in the garage but I'd bet it could be done in about 5hrs...
