Same thing (same product for Imprezas) was attempted on a local Subaru forum and the poor guy got laughed out of the forum because the forum had dozens of experienced autocrossers on it. Not as many on this board (despite being an international forum).

I've had a number of the "air" people tell me on this forum that there is no noticeable difference in performance.
So it looks like the net weight change was a gain of 16lbs.
