Just wanted to report back, I drove the car easy without trigerring the VANOS error code and got my car passed the emission today!!!
Next is to replace the VANOS solenoid and check if the error code come back again or not. If the fix did not get ride of the problem, I am considering trade in my 135 for something more reliable since I do not want to spend couple thousand dollars to open up the cylinder head to replace the sledge.
