Thanks to this forum, Ive read the thread for the DIY alarm and so I knew the ball park figure it should cost to do the installation as well as what is involved.
When I question the dealers tech person about what is involved and why it is so expensive, his comments are "It is not an easy installation, we will have to replace your interior roof lining, replace the door locks as well as reprogramme the whole car to work with the alarm".
As soon as he told me that I smelt bullshit and I told him from what I have learnt that is not correct. But he had gall to me otherwise. I wont be giving my service work to him thats for sure.
