Operation fix a scratch was a success!! First i tried the compound and polish, even though it did a good job of hiding it, the scratch was still there. Finally i gave in and committed to sand very very lightly for about 5-7 seconds but i swore it felt like an eternity. Then i followed the steps and everything worked out, finished up with 2 coats of Meguiar's sealant and its all good.
