Always worth a try man. There are tons of tuners shops all over Germany, I can think of 5 or 6 here in the area off the top of my head. If you came to Stuttgart you could guaranteed get Schropp or Speed Concepts to do it for the right price, my only thing is, if you are paying to have it done, might as well pay the best people possible.... the dealership.
I would call them first, maybe have a German speaking friend with you, and see if you could explain that it's a BMW part, just a simple suspension upgrade, and see what they say. Worst thing they can say, is no.
