I was certain that an E9X M3 was the car, I drove them and drove them and just didn't connect with any of them. I was looking for manual and the 6 speed in the M3 (maybe I'm picky), is really not a great thing. The car felt big, felt heavy (possibly simply due to the lack of low rev torque), but it didn't feel sharp.
When I drove a 1 series (admittedly it was the 1M), it was 5 minutes behind the wheel and decision was made. Spectacular. But I'd driven the 135i also prior to that and loved it also.
Never liked any of the other 3's, but I reckon the 335 would be great. Still a bit big for me though.
