Don't know if mines the same thing that you're experiencing OP, but when im driving especially on the highway i hear clicking and rattling noises from the trim piece where it goes across the center console, sounds like its loose but it isn't...been really annoying and kinda embarrassing if a passenger notices it

Can you tell me more about the issue with dashboard sinking? Do you mean by the passenger airbag? My car has this rectangular indentation on the dash around where the airbag is since I bought it! So can I get this looked at by BMW? Feel free to PM me so we don't thread jack lol
