I hear ya. But part of my crash course 'education' was that your warranty is between you and BMW. The dealership is an intermediary in the process. They are only the conduit. As far as BMW and the warranty terms are concerned the wheels were warranted by them and are being replaced under the terms of that warranty by them. If the dealer was the cause of the damage - you have a case against them. However they are required to comply with the terms of the BMW warranty in order to get BMW to supply you your replacement wheels.

Bottom line is you would sue the dealership for negligence and get additional compensation.
