I"m looking for the same thing. The Y adapter worked perfectly with my 4s, but not with the 5s. I may just keep my old 4s for playing music or something if that doesn't work. Ideally there would be a female 30 pin adapter to male lightning that you can just tack on to the Y adapter. Either that or BMW could make a Y adapter that fits the 5s, but that doesn't seem likely since few of their cars have this problem.
