Hey OP,
Fellow Westchester res here. Lifetime German and Ford fan (few fox mustangs, mk 1,2,4 GTIs). Just got my 135i convertible this past fall. I had a really hard time deciding between it and a '13 Mustang GT Premium with the Track Pack and Recaros (yes great seats!). To be honest while I am 100 happy with my 1 purchase, if the mustang was on the lot the way I wanted it, I probably would have brought it home. I agree about the clutch feel. The coyote motor is just fantastic. The tranny wasn't great (the Shelby has a different one) as the shifter was notchy and un weighted. Anyway if we run into each on the Bronx river, I'll wave you by. Have fun and good luck with it.
