I baby my vehicles, I change oil every 5k on my civic and I feed it synthetic. He licks the rim of the oil bottle and says thanks every time. In all seriousness, I do this because I drive 25k a year and I want the car to last. All the cars in my family have lasted a long time., and I plan to do the same on the 135i. I always feel guilty buying a depreciating asset.
An inspection 2 on the M3 can be 1600 at dealership and 750-800 from independent mechanic. If anything breaks you better wish you bought an extended warranty. It is expensive.
