What's in a name? Would a rose not smell as sweet, or tires wear as fast?
Wow. 3 pages of what to call the M version of the 1 series.
Seriously?
Some of you won't buy one simply because it may not be badged "M1"?
That kinda adds to the perception that some BMW enthusiasts are just brand name junkies.
What's really important is that the car be made correctly with proper power and proper suspension that lives up to the soul of M car.
I would think having it badged "1M" would be perfect for you guys who can't stomach it not being an M1. With a 1M badge you very easily simply swap the placement, and M1, voila!
