If you go JB4 you won't have to worry about o2 codes or check engine lights. The auto tune function will adjust as you add mods. N54 does have cats in the mid pipes. I have catless downpipes and passed inspection here in pa, I think it was just a visual. I would think cat back would refer to downpipes back. I could be wrong though. Good luck!
