Yep... They got different Offsets... So, in Germany, where everything has to Be Street legal (TÜV) , you just put the e82 Offsets on and thats it. If you buy the e46 Spec Wheels, you have to drive to the TÜV and they give you Green light (you have to Pay for that of course
)
I think they sell those e46 Parts out... The Time is gone when some dude buy some Tuning Parts direct @ BMW.... The Car is getting to old
