Hey bud, welcome. I will get right to the point. If you plan on purchasing this car you will most certainly need winter tires, some aggressive winter tires. As the performance tire that come on the car are WORTHLESS in the snow, even in light amounts.

I've been caught out twice now and limped home but almost didn't make it once. We have a 330xi and use that during the winter months as the 135 if just the "fun" car for us.

I would say if you're looking for an all around excellent car the 335xi is a great choice coupe or sedan. I just recently test drove the X5d and think that if you're looking for economy and torque diesels would be a good solution. Again the 335d would probably require snow tires.
