Can anybody tell me what the 118d performs like as standard ? Speed does not really bother me as the car looks the business IMO. Am i likely to be expecting more ? Currently i drive a 2011 Fiesta Zetec S.

Hi Johnson,
You should be good for ~8.5 secs to 60 mph. With a diesel tuning box you'll be around 7 secs (so quite a step up). But if speed's not your thing then hey-ho.
My wife just sold a Fiesta 1.6 Titanium (Zetec S engine), so I have driven this for many years and they are good cars. The BMW is in a different league though IMHO. I used to own a 135i and loved that car. It was tuned to @400 BHP so I guess I must be a speed freak.
Anyway, enjoy the car.
