Just to add to this DIY with what I did
(Sorry if someone's already posted the same method)
I unscrewed the four torx screws, but left the insulation strip on
I pushed down on the top of the kidney grill, on the areas where the clips are, one at a time, while pulling the grill outwards, and that popped out the top clips.
then the side clips I got released by shimmying the grill outwards.
the bottom ones come out immediately after doing that!
The new grills just pop in super super easy.
