It's ALOT better for the circuit than drag racing. When we drag there's always time in between pulls to eliminate the heatsoak. On the track your intercooler starts to put out air over 120*F after the first 3 gears and it won't cool off till you turn off the track. I know the big tom intercooler is a little extreme for you but they do have meth kits that can be quickly and cleanly removed for a warranty car. And you'll have a margin of safety while running maps 7-8
. It all boils down to different strokes.
