Stefan..how long of a drive is it down to the USA from youer house? I got some tires from Tirerack delivered to a receving agent in the USA (Blaine Washington) for $20 and they took delivery for me and helpd them for me. Then the shipping was free and the gu at the border let me thru without making any duty claim (yes I told him I had tires). I am going to do the same but I am waiting to see if
www.discounttiredirect.com has a better price as they have some $$$savings on a set of 4 tires once in a while. I am always shocked at how much cheaper the tires/wheels are at tirerack or discount tire in the US copared to Canada.
