OK - so I installed the shadowline this week. I did the bottom pieces on the door one day and did the top part the next day.
It actually is really easy to do compared to doing the black vinyl interior pieces. It would have only taken me probably an hour each day but it got cold and windy at the end of the day and the trim became almost impossible to work with it. It lost it's stretchiness and resilience making it really hard to apply...it kept tearing etc. So the drivers side top piece took me about 20 minutes(looks almost perfect) and the passenger side ended up taking an hour and half by itself, I had to laydown several patches to cover tears I caused...oh so frustrating!
So moral of the story is don't do this work when it's cold and windy...it can make it almost impossible. I'm going to order some more and redo the passengers side that got messed up. Even still, it looks really good you have to really inspect it closely to see where there were patches applied.
