Depends on their definition of 'enthusiast' I suppose.
If understeer accompanied by screeching tyres, but VERY fast in a straight line is the definition, then yes, the TT-RS would be. On the other hand if, enjoying a nicely balanced chassis is, then no.
I only drove one, briefly, on the road, but wouldn't want to take one on a track......and watching this video shows why
