You may want to re-read that contract-- the platinum extended warranty doesn't cover tires at all, the add-on for tires is road hazard coverage, not "I ran out of tread."
Unless you got something above and beyond the high-end contracts they usually sell (and if you did, please let us know how to get it ourselves...), you're unlikely to get the tires replaced under warranty without driving through a construction site and picking up nails in all four...
...which, I suppose, could've been your plan...
