well I can say that I have had the dealership try to buff mine out 2 times now. I have also tried to buff it out (only using a blue pad) to no avail. They are "good will" replacing it. BUT!!! In order to replace the lower rear portion they have to install a new fricken window!! I like how BMW says "it is good will", yet its clearly defective/poorly designed. It shouldnt do that after a washing if everything else on the car is fine. They need to clear coat these pieces or something to prevent this from happening.
