Looks like the cupholder piece is integral to the center console. You'd have to replace the whole center console piece, according to
RealOEM.com. It's doable, but looks expensive to do.
Piece 1 is the "no cupholder model", piece 2 is the "cupholder model", and piece 3 is the "single cupholder for iDrive cars model".
You may just want to replace the ashtray
with another bin, if you're simply looking for more storage.
Granted, these parts are listed for the E87 130i, but the consoles should be the same.
