I am very surprised that BMW is putting in LSDs to these cars as will dilute the real ///M cars as will xdrive option. From what I read on the 435i though the LSD isn't the same as those in M cars.

fancy as hell gearbox, but less power, less power potential, bushings, LSD, control arms, springs/dampers/bracing etc.
though, the N55 should have a turbo upgrade soon which will wake it up
i'm surprised you say it will dilute the 'real m's'
you know E30/E36, they offered LSD's on many non-M models right?
it's not a 'diluting' of anything, the not offering LSD's at all was a global dilution of the brand.. they're meant to be 'sporty' cars, even from the lowest model.
