Well the issue it seems right now isn't so much tracking with the OEM Brembo's. We've done that and had no problems. It seems like certain track pads like the Cool Willy generate a lot of heat which might lead to this problem. I doubt anyone is swapping to track pads to do mountain runs. That and it is not safe to be running track pads on the street. Track pads generally do not stop very well when cold (at times some are worse than OME pads when cold) and need to be warmed up. If you're worried about safety, running track pads on the street is not a good idea.
