Here is
Rogue Engineering 1M SSK. It back dates the shifter arm/carrier to the N54 unit. That in part is why its so much money.

I also see no reason why you couldn't just order the BMW Perf shift lever(like the part in the Turner kit) and install that. That ought to give you 90% of the short shifter for very little money(~$70)

I still couldn't find the thread I was originally thinking about. I remember someone installed JUST the Perf SS lever from the Perf SSK in a 1M. I see no reason why this would not work. And it should give you 90% of the short shifter feel for very little money.
