It really depends on how you drive. Do you like to rotate the car under power in a turn? Do you like to take off quickly? Or do you only drive highways?
I live in a rural area so there are lots of twisty roads out here that I like to drive briskly without getting dangerous or over aggressive. My commute is about 16 miles each way with over half of that being backroads and the final few minutes being on a normal 4 lane highway into the town where I work.

I don't tend to slide or launch aggressively enough to burn the rear tires. For me, most of the wear would be coming from the curves and corners of the backroads near my house.
