Sounds like there was a mistake and the dealer was trying to cover their own ass instead of trying to give you good service. I would ask them to look around everywhere for any other cars coming in like yours that they could trade this one for. I am pretty sure that Black/Aluminum interior cars are around quite a bit.
Also, your deposit is ABSOLUTELY refundable. I would say they are treading on dangerous waters if they claim it is not.
