While we're all lame at one time or another, I find my 128i to be acceptable to about 70~80 mph, although on long interstate drives (100+ miles), I tend to keep the top up.

Lots of folks swear by the BMW accessory wind blocker although I haven't bought one on the theory that top driving should include at least some wind!
