D-Force is still planning on a 1er specific rear wheel for us. I just don't have a firm commitment from them yet.

The outter ring you see is a stiffening ring. Wheel stiffness is an often ignored aspect to high performance wheels. Most people obess over wheel weight, which is important, but they completely ignore wheel stiffness. Huge forces are generated at the tire and the wheel and some wheels will flex under those loads, having the same effect of sloppy suspension bushings.

There is plenty of clearance on the rear 1er brake caliper. Even when we did our test fitment of the custom offset D-Force Empower we still had plenty of caliper clearance. We took a standard 19x9.5 +43 empower wheel and shaved the backpad down to a +57 offset. There was still lots of room for the caliper.
