We probably have more 1 series using our wheels on the street than on the track. Although our ARC-8's are known for being very light track wheels they are also built to hold up without problems on the street. If a wheel can bang and slam off of track curbing and hold up to track G forces than it is usually fine on the street. We do recommend using a 235/40/18 front tire and a 265/35/18 rear tire since anything less will give the tire's sidewall stretch on the wheel widths we have spec'd for the 1 series. Below are a few street cars using our ARC-8's and EC-7's.

Apex ARC-8's in the Hyper Black finish in 18x8.5" ET45 and 18x9.5" ET62 with a 235/40/18 and 265/35/18 Michelin PS2 tires

Apex EC-7's in the Anthracite finish in 18x8.5" ET45 and 18x9.5" ET58 with a 235/40/18 and 265/35/18 Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires
