Pay lots of money to Track Corp, because the owners are none the wiser that they could drive the same tracks, in the same cars, for a lot longer period, in the same safety, at generally greater speeds for a much much lower cost.....

Tracks like Wakefield Park (NSW), Calder (VIC) and Winton (VIC), hold weekly or fortnightly free practice sessions that require either no racing licence, or basic licence (pay fee only stuff), helmet, toes to neck clothing, bonnet strap and fire extinguisher. Fees are $120 - $180 for a full day.

Certainly Track Corp makes the event of a special day with a bit of pampering and lots of high priced cars, but thrills can be got much cheaper.....and at places like Calder you can have the joy of sharing the track at the same time as some pretty amazing race cars.
