U only use the BMW oil filters. They cost me ten euros at my dealer. I have bought two Mahle filters... just bc i was curious as to what they looked like. They cost me six euros each. The design is slightly different from the OE BMW filter.
Btw... I think Mahle is OE while Mann is a OEM supplier. I would only use BMW filters while under warranty. Just one less thing to worry about.
