) I "removed" the dead pedal and it appears that they are held on by just push-in clips that are molded into the pedal, but they all broke off at the base of the clip on the dead pedal, so it really isnt possible to reinstall completely. However, the new dead pedal DOES cover all of the OEM mounting points through the carpet and the screws provided start and hold very well. Mine look very similar to yours in shape and grip design, they just have the ///M logo at the top.
