BMW Motorsports Limited sounds like some sort of "official" designation conferred by BMW. It has not, of course, been designated as such and I'm not aware that BMW has done so for any other model.
For that reason, it strikes me as a bit pretentious.
I'd prefer the simple "One of 740" That suggests enough exclusivity to me.
