+1. You're absolutely right.
I was just making the argument that, as opposed to BMW's official stance regarding pads and rotors, you don't need to change rotors
every time you change pads. Even my dealer replaced worn pads one time without changing the rotors (and I was OK with it, since they were not really worn).
