Well, while it may be used as a direct swap, we don't really know if it is the 'appropriate' one to use. Sure, Map 5 will 'work' as you say, but has it been optimized for the 1 ///M? No.
The truth is all this is speculation until the tuners get their hands on the actual full software off the 1 ///M. Have Terry, or Shiv, or others actually seen the full software that is in the ///M? I personally have not seen anybody opine conclusively on this from the tuner community, but then again, I am not on every board, so maybe I've missed it.
