Is there a way of getting a data log? n54tech may be helpful, searching through the threads etc.
When was the battery last replaced? the door clicking could be a battery on its way out.
Changing the spark plugs will help, it could also be a failing coil pack, one test would be to swap the coil from cyl5 to cyl6 and see if the fault follows.
