My turbos have a rattle on occasion, but my Cobb Accessport detected several error codes at the track when it went into limp mode. The error codes pointed to failing wastegates. lack of turbo pressure and possible Fuel pressure. I took off my afe cold air intake, my aa charge pipe with BOV, and my Accessport.
The dealer denied the new turbos based on the required specs from BMW to prove there was a continuous rattle 6 times in a row, and proof of failure.

I wish I was as lucky as the guy in CT. Maybe I'll take it to a new dealer!
