Not a race but something I'll contribute that sure was fun. . . .
Three lane divided highway, uphill 20 percent grade, stopped at a traffic light, a Yamaha R-1 on my left, no one on my right. Straight, no entrances ahead for 3/4 mile.
Light turns green, he is off like a shot and has about 60 feet on me.
I hit the go pedal.
He is opening up his bike and I'm hanging w/ him to 118, when he looks quickly to his right and sees me.
I don't think he expected anyone to be there.
Of course he could blow my doors off. I'm figuring he brought it up to 110 then backed off. I got to within 30 feet of him before I started to back down as I was not about to pass him on the right.
I'm 55.
I've got my flame suit on :-)
