I personally stay away from them after seening them on my acura CL. It was because how they are installed. It sometimes has a very slight rub against the body of the car and will lead to permanent scratches on the body parts it was connected to. (It is only a problem if you decide to take them off down the line) There been lots of pictures and forum talk about them after a couple of years on my old forum.

I do not know how they are attached to the 3, but instead of chancing it I decided not to get them and just wash my car more often. LOL
