First off sorry if this is in the wrong forum as I wasnt sure if this goes here or under Service / Warr
I hope that maybe there is a service tech on the site that can help me sort this out ....
I got my BMW Perf Steering Wheel yesterday and installed it my self (Im quite capable of installing pretty much anything ... yet Im not a Engineer). I followed the directions which can be found here in pdf format:

The install was straight fwd however I had one issue while installing it:
if you see page 9 of the pdf, I messed up and switched pin 2 & 4 with each other and started the car before realizing I has a SOS and Air Bag Error. I then went back and found the error and corrected it but for some reason Im still getting the Passenger Restraint Error when the car starts
My question is .... 1) if I got the air bag error will it have to be rest by BMW Service? or does the error go away if the error has been corrected????
2) While looking at the install instructions can you see any other connections then the ones associated with the X10170 plug? As if there is a error I must be missing it some how. I have checked and checked and checked every connection and wire at least 10x and am totally racking my brain over this.
