The NSW govt as of the 1/2/13 made it illegal to wave whilst in controll of a motor vehicle, both hands must be firmly placed on the steering wheel. failure to do so will incur 3 demerit points and a $400 fine. If the hand not firmly gripping the steering wheel is found to be adjusting an itchy bollock then the fine is doubled. To assist police with their new duties they have been issued with bollock cams which attach to their hats.
